On Briarstone Isle, an isolated rock four miles south of the town of Thrushmoor on Lake Encarthan, lies a decrepit sanitarium.

Built upon the foundation of an old, half-built fort, Briarstone Asylum has cared for countless affected by mental illnesses since its establishment over 100 years ago.

Four patients awoke here without a memory of their past life.
